10 Things That Will Blow a Stoner's Mind!

mind blown

Disclaimer right away.

This post is TOTALLY self-gratifying because it  had me both, laughing out loud while I wrote it (i.e lol), and also because it changed something inside me along the way.

I am actually still trying to process how I feel about some of this. In many ways, my entire universe has been expanded as I come to terms with certain truths I never knew I would have to face!

On the other hand, I'm not sure that I was completely prepared to wind my way down such rabbit holes. I didn't really know what I was getting myself into. Now I'm left navigating unfamiliar waters.

Perhaps you have a deeper sense-of-self or your place in the universe than I. It may be that I once thought of myself as a seeker and collector of knowledge, wisdom, and uneasy truths. How wrong I was. I am barely a student now, as I realize just how little I have ever truly known.

I bid caution if you choose to brave such a journey as I have made - collecting this great anthology of knowledge.

One last word before I leave you to own vision quest...

... some sights cannot be unseen, some truths never to be unlearned, some journeys take you to places from which you can never fully return... not as the same person you were before you went in.

Namaste my friends,
Safe Journeys.

Facts and Things

For real, I am still freaking out from researching this list, and of all the wondrous facts, tidbits, and visual spectacles to delight my senses, it was this First  nugget of knowledge that made me start to rethink and question everything that I ever thought I knew.

Frankly, it really fucked my world up. I warned you...

Marijuana's Biggest healthy risk is NOT found in the biology of the plant...at all!  Actually, the OPPOSITE seems to be true.
Studies continue to show that, along with being less harmful than many of the chemicals we put into our body on a daily basis, Cannabis is actually beneficial to our health in many ways.  Most of which we are just beginning to explore and understand.
From treating depression to fighting back cancer, this pariah of a plant has been given a bad a "wrap" and attempts to prove otherwise are consistently going... ,"up in smoke!" ... a-yuhk, a-yuhk, a-yuhk.
Nope. The riskiest thing about Marijuana consumption is simply getting caught. With no real capacity for overdose, a reputation for making people mellow rather than confrontational, and a killer high that usually ends in nothing more serious than a munchie attack, the real risks posed by Marijuana usage are the ones that our own government has attached as a crimes/punishment agenda.
Arrest, imprisonment, exposure to a Black Market economy, and potential life-long consequences of having charges on your record are the most serious problems here.
jail sucks
Simple possession poses harsh enough penalties, but get caught with over half an ounce in some States and you are facing a Felony with a capital WTFuuuggg!
My MOM smoked damn near an ounce a week for all the years that I knew her, but regardless a distribution charge from outdated laws can leave you without the right to VOTE, apply for STUDENT LOANS and GRANTS, the possibility of a FELONY that can keep you under employed for the rest of your life... and unthinkable lengths of incarceration where Soft-Core Pot Heads get tossed in with felony "do you like my tear drop" guys or violent offenders who make games outta turning short times into long term-ers.  I'm just sayin' It's a fucked up system all round.
In all my life the only people I have personally heard advocating for "protest by not voting"  were either lazy pot-heads (no-offense) or just plain stupid. (Once again this is just MY experience.
Either way! Get out in November and VOTE. If not for a person, than for a principle. If not for a principle than out of respect and duty. If not outta respect for the political process then just Vote so you can gloat at ONE singular asshole you know voted for Trump and say,
"I canceled you out! I have made you irrelevant. I trumped your Trump."
...or something wittier than that... I know you have it in ya!

The Wizard of Oz synced to Dark Side Of The Moon.

Urban Legend or Masterpiece of psychedelic- syncopation. It doesn't MATTER! I leave you with this fan-build that does the "Dark Side of the Rainbow" a damn good service in the editing.

If you have never indulged, then you owe it to yourself. RIGHT NOW is the perfect time to spark one up, get comfy and decide for yourself if this... is "Cosmic-Coincidence" or are you just high? Oo
